About Good News Ministries of Tampa Bay
A NEW EVANGELIZATION FOR A NEW MILLENNIUM
We are a Catholic evangelization and faith-building ministry that was founded in 1995. Although located in the Diocese of St. Petersburg, Florida, we share the Good News of Jesus Christ nationally and globally, in a way that changes lives: first in your life, then through you in the lives of those God has placed around you. We implement — and teach others to implement — the three goals outlined in the U.S. Bishops' evangelization plan, Go and Make Disciples: (1) Be evangelized, (2) Invite others to be evangelized, (3) Change the world with your faith.
Our online ministry fulfills Christ's command to "Go out into all the world and spread the Good News." The ways we accomplish this includes the following:
We offer online and in-parish seminars, retreats, courses, and parish missions here and around the world. Our speakers for Catholic adult education specialize in teaching the Church documents, Bible study and prayer. Our online services include Daily Reflections on the readings from Sunday-Friday Mass, faith sharing Christian community egroups, WordByte articles on living the faith and how to evangelize, a Virtual Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, and Cyber Rosaries including the new Luminous Mysteries. As a non-profit charitable organization, GNM charges no fees but accepts donations as support for its ministries. Catholic Digital Resources is GNM Director Terry Modica's writing services site, which helps support the future growth and projects of Good News Ministries. .
Our speakers go into parishes and dioceses to transform lives and increase stewardship. We are Catholic Lay Evangelists who teach from what we have lived, are certified by the Lay Pastoral Institute of the Diocese of St. Petersburg (and the Director of GNM, Terry Modica, has a Degree in Theology), and have served at the parish and diocesan level in a wide range of ministries with a focus on evangelization.

We offer seminars, retreats, courses and an intensive week-long Institute of Adult Formation and Evangelization, in accordance with the teachings of the Church Magisterium.
Meet the faculty. We travel wherever we are called to minister. See our fees (stipend is negotiable.) We design our retreats and missions according to the needs and goals of your parish.
We also partner with Bob Metivier and Elyse O'Kane, Catholic music artists.
We are strong believers in collaboration and the spirit of unity that comes from working with other ministries. When an opportunity arises, we network with other
Catholic
Evangelizers.
Our own continuing education in Catholic teachings and Catholic evangelization is a top priority for us. Our teachings are never the same twice, because they reflect this priority on learning and growing. See Terry Modica's participation in the first
